Google integration & ad spend
Import spend from GA4 and Google Ads — or add it manually — to unlock cost-per-lead.
Cost-per-lead needs spend. Trackfully takes it three ways, all landing in the same reports.
Manual entry & CSV (works immediately)
Integrations → Ad spend — manual entry: give a campaign name, a date range and a total; it spreads evenly across the days. Or upload a CSV with day, campaign, spend columns (optionally clicks, impressions). Re-uploading the same days updates rather than duplicates.
Connect Google (GA4)
Integrations → Connect Google signs you into the Google account that owns your GA4 property. Pick the property, hit Sync now, and daily spend/campaign data imports automatically every night from then on.
Note: GA4 only carries ad-cost data when the property has Google Ads linked inside GA4. No linked Ads account = a successful sync with zero rows.
Google Ads (direct)
Direct Ads import (true spend by campaign and date) activates on workspaces once our Ads API access is provisioned — same Google connection, nothing extra to install. Until then, GA4 or manual entry covers CPL.
Where spend shows up
- Dashboard: the Ad spend stat with £-per-lead underneath
- Reports: Campaigns and Source reports gain Spend and CPL columns
Spend matches leads by campaign name — keep campaign naming consistent between your ads and your UTMs for clean joins.
